BYU Formula Racing

After eight successful years in the Society of Automotive Engineering Mini Baja competition, BYU took on a new challenge. In 2006, the BYU Mechanical Engineering department designed, built and raced a one man, open-wheeled road racer. The Formula Team competed in the Formula SAE competition at the California Speedway in June of 2006. This year, BYU is competing for the second time in the FSAE West competition and plans to win.
