  • BYU Racing is an engineering team on BYU campus where students design and build a formula style racecar to compete in the FSAE competition. More details can be found in the about us section.
  • This will vary year to year but generally it will be around 70mph.
  • We welcome any who are interested. Even with no experience there is a place here for you. Check our new member page for more information.
  • We meet in the Motor Sport Lab (MSL) on the first floor of the Engineering Building. North east corner (room 124) down the hall from the prototyping lab. Team meetings are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm. Come and join us!
  • Only students who are on the capstone team will receive school credit, everyone else is considered a volunteer.
  • The FSAE Competition is held in Michigan at the Michigan International Speedway in June each year. 75 teams from anywhere in the world can compete in the 8 events over the 3 days. There are 5 dynamic events and 3 static along with many tests for safety. More details about those can be found in the rules.
